Rain or shrine

Although the last few days were filled with pouring rain – it doesn't keep me from doing my daily walks.
Again, just as I used to do walkies in all kinds of weather in England – the same goes for Japan.
Narrow roads swirling around rice paddies, cliff sides, little villages (some abandoned), numerous tunnels through hill sides – that often feel very Ghibli – numerous shrines and temples dotted along the landscape, and many small roads that lead to some houses, a small dock with some fishing boats – often cramped between cliffs – overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

So rain or shine – it's a constant visual feast for those who love to walk and spend time in nature.

But please – remember, should you visit here: bring your best manners and don't be an f-ing prick.

Tried to keep it off as long as I could though – but recently, I have not only seen some vile incidents on (just) social media (taken with a rock of salt, of course… nevertheless) – but now I’m starting to witness some gaijin bullshit too – that I will not hold back on in my posts regarding the subject.
Although that will be for my next post. I've done just under 20 kms today (walkies ofc), and I'm getting rather knackered.

Have a good'n, ya'll"
